Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios have partnered on a multi-film slate, Variety reports. First co-production 'Daayra' — a fact-based crime thriller directed by Meghna Gulzar, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran — reaches theatres 18 September. Trailer arrives 31 August. The slate deal spreads financing risk across shared development rosters for two Hindi-cinema producers.
