Tim Curry dead at 80, 14 years after major stroke

Tim Curry died at 80 on 25 August 2026 at his Toluca Lake home, manager Marcia Hurwitz confirmed to the BBC. A 2012 stroke required brain surgery and left him using a wheelchair. He continued working, largely in voice acting, for 14 years. Cause of death was not immediately available, Reuters reported.
