Alison dos Santos breaks 400m hurdles world record with 45.80 in Zurich

Brazil's Alison dos Santos broke the men's 400m hurdles world record at the Zurich Diamond League on 27 August 2026, clocking 45.80 seconds. He shaved 0.14 off the 45.94 set by Norway's Karsten Warholm. The mark fell at Letzigrund Stadium on a night when two world records fell inside an hour.
