The Pokémon Company launches PokémonXP, its first fan convention, alongside 2026 World Championships

The Pokémon Company has launched PokémonXP, a first-of-its-kind fan convention running August 28–30, 2026 at San Francisco's Moscone Center alongside the Pokémon World Championships. PokémonXP targets the broader community with panels, signings and interactive attractions, while the Worlds remain a competitive tournament with cash prizes. Over 50,000 fans are attending both events, according to VGC.
