Alliance Cinema Takes Equity Stake in David Mamet's 'Speed The Plow'

Alliance Cinema, the Los Angeles- and Germany-based producer-financier, has joined David Mamet's film "Speed The Plow" as an equity financier, taking an ownership stake in exchange for capital into the production. The film, in post-production, adapts Mamet's Broadway play and stars Anthony Mackie, Ben Mendelsohn, Sharon Stone, and Emily Alyn Lind. The Solution Entertainment Group handles international sales; Milestone Studios oversees U.S. sales.
