Sir Paul Smith, 80, fills first two weeks of September with five central London events

Sir Paul Smith, who turned 80 in July, has scheduled five central London events across early September: his memoir "Threads: My Life in Style" (Pan Macmillan, 10 September), a Selfridges Corner Shop pop-up marking 40 years of partnership (7–19 September), a Southbank Centre talk (10 September), a British Fashion Council event at Selfridges' 40 Duke members' club during London Fashion Week, and a Paul Smith Foundation workshop at Selfridges. He is not showing on the official London Fashion Week calendar.
