Rockstar says GTA 6 driving will be the series' hardest as stolen luxury cars add GPS trackers

Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson told IGN that GTA 6's narrower, more realistically scaled streets and denser traffic make driving "more challenging" than in any prior entry. Stolen luxury cars carry GPS trackers players must outrun alongside police. A Netflix preview programme premieres 27 August 2026; the game releases 19 November 2026.
