Abbas four-for gives Pakistan the edge as England reach 180-5 at tea, Lord's

Mohammad Abbas took four wickets on a rain-shortened opening day of the Second Test at Lord's, bowling Jamie Smith among his victims. Smith had earlier made a half-century and, with Jordan Cox, led a fightback to 180 for five at tea. Pakistan, 0-1 down after an innings defeat at Headingley, won the toss and bowled first under grey skies.
