Six storeys, 19 homes on a half-size lot: Lehrer Architects completes Loma Verde in Los Angeles

Lehrer Architects has completed Loma Verde at 405 North Westlake Avenue in the Filipinotown neighbourhood of Los Angeles. The wood-framed, six-storey building holds 19 studio apartments, 270–300 sq ft each, for formerly homeless residents, on a 4,500-sq-ft lot — half a typical single-family parcel, according to the firm.
