Billboard names former construction worker Blake Whiten its Up-and-Coming Artist for August 2024

Billboard named Blake Whiten, a 22-year-old former construction worker from Six Mile, South Carolina, its Up-and-Coming Artist of the Month for August 2024. A June 2024 viral social media cover of Morgan Wallen's "I'm The Problem" prompted Whiten to move to Nashville within 48 hours. His debut album "Something to Say" followed in July on Enchntmnt/Warner Records.
