Wheel of Time showrunner Rafe Judkins signs overall deal with Paramount Television Studios

Rafe Judkins, showrunner on Prime Video's The Wheel of Time across three seasons (2021–2025), has signed an overall deal — committing him exclusively to one studio — with Paramount Television Studios, Variety reported on 27 August 2026. He will create, develop and produce original scripted series. President Matt Thunell pursued Judkins, who reunites with Chris Parnell, now leading genre development at Paramount+.
