Menace II Society actor Samuel Monroe Jr. dies at 52

Samuel Monroe Jr., who debuted in the 1993 film Menace II Society, died on 26 August 2026 at 52, Deadline reported. His mother, Joyce Patton, announced the death on Facebook. Monroe had been on life support; his meningitis went untreated for eight months after misdiagnoses, People reported. He also appeared in Set It Off and The Players Club.
