Channel 4's Director of Streaming & Content Strategy Kiran Nataraja told the Edinburgh TV Festival on 27 August 2026 that new judge Nigella Lawson and Paul Hollywood are "not arguing about helicopters." The remark dismissed a Daily Mail story citing an unnamed source that the pair were "not getting on too well." Lawson replaced Prue Leith for season 17, launching September 2026.
