Top Gear returns to BBC as lawsuit from Flintoff crash co-driver continues

BBC director of entertainment Ed Havard told the Edinburgh TV Festival that Top Gear will return, four years after it was rested following Andrew Flintoff's 2022 test-track crash. A racing driver in the car with Flintoff is suing BBC Studios (BBC News, 12 July 2026). No presenting lineup or air date is confirmed. BBC Studios will produce.
