Channel 4 won't decide on 'Married at First Sight UK' future until welfare reviews conclude
Channel 4 director of content strategy Kiran Nataraja told the Edinburgh TV Festival on 27 August 2026 that the broadcaster is taking the 'Married at First Sight' scandal "very seriously" but declined to say whether the show will be axed. Two ongoing reviews into contributor welfare must conclude first. A BBC Panorama investigation alleged two participants were raped by their onscreen husbands and a third was subjected to a non-consensual sex act.
