Amol Rajan exits BBC, signs production and distribution deal with Sister Group

Amol Rajan is leaving the BBC — including Radio 4's Today and University Challenge — and has signed a production and distribution deal with Sister Group, founded by Liz Murdoch and Jane Featherstone in 2019. Announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival on 27 August 2026, where Rajan delivered the Alternative MacTaggart lecture. First project: The Amol Rajan Connection, to be recorded at Koko in Camden.
