Saban unlocked his Alabama archive for ESPN docuseries premiering October 8

ESPN's six-part "Saban" debuts 6 p.m. on October 8. Nick Saban released hundreds of hours of Alabama footage he had barred from leaving the building while coaching, Variety reports (2026-08-27). Words + Pictures and ESPN gained access to the never-public material. Saban sat for 30-plus hours of interviews; more than 80 contributors include Belichick, Kiffin, Hurts and Tagovailoa.
