Alpine retain Colapinto for 2027 alongside Gasly

Alpine have re-signed 23-year-old Franco Colapinto for the 2027 Formula 1 season, pairing him with Pierre Gasly for a second consecutive year. The Argentine, promoted from reserve duties in 2025, took a career-best sixth in Canada this season. Alpine sit sixth in the constructors' standings after twelve races, up from last in 2025.
