Obscured Releasing Acquires North American Rights to Sámi Musical Drama 'Árru'

Obscured Releasing has acquired North American rights to Árru, a Sámi musical drama written and directed by Elle Sofe Sara, Deadline reports. The film follows Sámi reindeer herders facing an encroaching mining project. A theatrical release is planned for early 2027, with a digital launch later that year. The Yellow Affair handled the sale. Árru premiered at Berlin and played Tribeca.
