BBC renews 'Ann Droid' for season two after 7.6 million-viewer launch

The BBC has renewed Diane Morgan's comedy 'Ann Droid' for a second season, Deadline reported on 27 August 2026. The Boffola Pictures and Witchcraft Industries production opened to 7.6 million viewers — one of the broadcaster's biggest launches of the year. Morgan co-wrote the series with Sarah Kendall and stars opposite Sue Johnston and Paul Ready. No premiere date is set.
