Wetscher's debut 'Eklipse,' drawn from his father's AIDS death kept secret, world premieres in Venice Horizons on 5 September

Austrian writer-director Manuel Wetscher's feature debut 'Eklipse' world premieres in the Horizons section of the 83rd Venice Film Festival on 5 September. The film draws on Wetscher's childhood experience of his father's death from AIDS in the 1990s being kept from him. Films Boutique handles world sales; Eutopiafilm and Albolina Film produced. The Hollywood Reporter debuted a clip on 27 August.
