Sorkin returns to Facebook with 'The Social Reckoning,' set for 9 October theatrical release

Aaron Sorkin has written and directed The Social Reckoning, a companion piece to The Social Network based on The Wall Street Journal's "The Facebook Files" exposé. Columbia Pictures will release the film exclusively in theatres on 9 October 2026, per Deadline. Sorkin produced alongside Todd Black, Peter Rice and Stuart Besser.
