1047 Games ends development on both its live-service shooters, exits the genre

1047 Games announced on X on August 26, 2026 that active development on Splitgate: Arena Reloaded and Empulse ends immediately. Neither title generates enough revenue to cover dedicated server costs. The studio says it is moving away from live-service shooters entirely. Both games shift to peer-to-peer play on September 3, 2026, when dedicated servers go offline.
