Aly & AJ cancel 14-city tour as Aly Michalka lands Broadway debut in '& Juliet'

Aly & AJ cancelled 14 tour dates from November 28 in Cincinnati through December 19 in Anaheim after Aly Michalka was cast as Anne Hathaway in '& Juliet' at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, beginning November 3 for a limited run. Michalka called the Broadway opportunity one she "couldn't pass up" in an Instagram statement on August 26. The duo released a free live album as consolation.
