Universal's Snoop biopic casts Shante Broadus, Kurupt, Nate Dogg and The Lady of Rage

Universal has added four castings to "Snoop," its Snoop Dogg biopic directed by Craig Brewer. Laya DeLeon Hayes plays Shante Broadus, Snoop's wife; Olly Sholotan is Kurupt; Corey Champagne is Nate Dogg; Jonica Booth is The Lady of Rage. All four are Death Row Records-era figures, signalling the film's scope extends beyond Snoop alone. Snoop Dogg produces through Death Row Pictures. No release date is set. (Deadline, 26 August 2026)
