Panic Automatically Refunding Playdate Customers' US$12.36 Tariff Surcharge

Panic is automatically refunding the US$12.36 tariff surcharge to Playdate buyers after the US Supreme Court invalidated the 19% import tariff on 20 February 2026 and the company recovered the money from the government. Co-founder Cabel Sasser said: "It's just not our money to keep." A new 15% tariff under a different legal mechanism may still apply to future orders.
