Nothing launched Essential Voice on April 24, 2026, a dictation tool across its phones that converts speech to text in over 100 languages, removes filler words in real time, and translates on the fly. It addresses a real friction point: touchscreen typing caps users at roughly 36 words per minute. The tool includes custom voice shortcuts and keyboard integration for automating common phrases. Rollout began with the Phone (3), expanding to Pro and standard models through May.
