Beyoncé pledges $1 million personal donation for Colombia earthquake relief

Parkwood Entertainment announced on Aug. 25 that Beyoncé will personally donate $1 million to provide food and housing supplies for communities hardest hit by the magnitude-7.4 earthquake that struck near San José del Palmar, Chocó, on Aug. 10. Parkwood directed supporters to Food For The Poor and World Central Kitchen, both operating on the ground.
