Amazon MGM develops 'The Last Sunrise' sequel before source novel is published

Amazon MGM Studios is developing a sequel to "The Last Sunrise," based on the second novel in Anna Todd's planned trilogy — a book not yet published. Screenwriter Anna Klassen, who adapted the first novel, returns for the second instalment. The first film streams globally on Prime Video on 26 August 2026 (Deadline).
