Brentford agree £40m deal for West Ham's Diouf

Brentford have reached a verbal agreement with West Ham to sign Senegal left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf for an initial £35m plus £5m in add-ons. The 21-year-old, who played four times at this summer's World Cup, has been cleared to undergo a medical. He would become Brentford's fifth signing of the window and return to the Premier League after one season.
