Brennan, 21, takes second Vuelta stage win in Grand Tour debut

Britain's Matthew Brennan won stage five of the Vuelta a España — a 173.3 km sprint from Falset to Roquetes — beating Jordi Meeus and Vincenzo Albanese. It is the 21-year-old's second win of the race after stage two, in his first Grand Tour. Brennan now has six victories in 2026. Tadej Pogacar retains the overall lead by 3:21 over Primoz Roglic.
