PGA Tour suspends Matt Gogel six months for betting on golf

The PGA Tour suspended Matt Gogel for six months under its Integrity Program after the 55-year-old admitted placing what he called "small recreational wagers" on golf tournaments in 2024 and 2025. Gogel, who competes on PGA Tour Champions, did not bet on events he played. The ban runs 23 August 2026 through 22 February 2027.
