Luminate has found thousands of AI-generated songs — but most of its catalogue remains unscreened

Luminate, whose data powers Billboard's charts, has identified thousands of AI-generated songs in its database but has not finished screening its full catalogue. The company confirmed that an absent AI label does not guarantee a track was human-made. Visible AI labels on its CONNECT platform will reach customers and partners later in 2026.
