Judge Rejects Blake Lively's Sexual Harassment Claims, Cites Independent-Contractor Status
U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman ruled that Blake Lively worked on "It Ends With Us" as an independent contractor, not an employee, rejecting her sexual harassment claims. The decision narrowed a California anti-retaliation law so that Lively could recover fees only for defending against Justin Baldoni's defamation claims — yielding about $407,000 of the roughly $8 million she sought, ABC News reported.
