Allen Withdraws From British Open and English Open, Missing Fifth Ranking Event of the Season

Mark Allen has withdrawn from the British Open (31 August, Cheltenham) and English Open (7 September) for personal reasons, the World Snooker Tour confirmed on 26 August. He will also not defend his English Open title, won at Brentwood last year.
