Busy Philipps had a malignant brain tumour removed weeks before filming CBS drama 'Cupertino'
Busy Philipps, 47, had a 2.6 cm grade 2 oligodendroglioma — a rare, slow-growing primary brain tumour — removed in March 2026, weeks before filming CBS drama 'Cupertino.' A Prenuvo full-body MRI found it in February after her doctor discouraged the scan in 2025, Deadline reported. She later needed debridement surgery for a staph infection at the incision site, discovered by a dermatologist she visited for Botox. Philipps told People she is "Grateful That I'm Alive."
