HBO sets September 18 premiere for Jay-Z documentary series 'Jay-Z in 8'

HBO premieres 'Jay-Z in 8' on September 18, with the first two episodes debuting back-to-back at 8 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max. The eight-part series features Shawn Carter discussing his lyrics and songwriting with producer Rick Rubin, who directs. Two episodes follow every Friday until the October 9 finale. It is a Tetragrammaton production.
