Netflix Greenlights 'Jig,' Six-Episode Irish-Dancing Mockumentary from Lisa McGee

Netflix has ordered "Jig," a six-episode mockumentary comedy about competitive Irish dancing from "Derry Girls" creator Lisa McGee, announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival on 26 August. Orchid Pictures is producing; filming begins next year in Northern Ireland. No cast is set. It is McGee's third Netflix series, after "Derry Girls" and "How to Get to Heaven From Belfast."
