Tim Curry, the English actor and singer who originated the role of Dr. Frank N. Furter in the 1973 London stage production of The Rocky Horror Show and the 1975 film adaptation, died on 26 August 2026 at his Los Angeles home. He was 80. Variety confirmed the death; no cause was given. Curry had health issues following a severe stroke in 2012. His credits include a Tony nomination for Amadeus and roles in Legend and Clue.
