Ramona S. Diaz Launches Documentary of 'My Family's Slave,' Targeting Early 2028

Ramona S. Diaz has launched a feature documentary adapting Alex Tizon's Pulitzer Prize-winning essay "My Family's Slave," published posthumously by The Atlantic in 2017, Deadline reports. The essay recounts Eudocia Tomas Pullido, enslaved by Tizon's family for 56 years. Producers Diane Quon and Janice Chua; Lee Daniels is among executive producers. Diaz targets completion in late 2027 and release in early 2028.
