SoundCloud launches direct song sales with 100% artist payout in beta

SoundCloud will let roughly 200 Artist Pro creators sell songs directly from their profile pages from 26 August 2026, the platform told Billboard. Artists keep 100% of each sale minus processing fees and taxes. Fans receive MP3 or WAV downloads. The beta precedes a wider rollout expected in autumn, under CEO Eliah Seton.
