Chelsea and Aston Villa eye Martinez–Jackson swap deal

Chelsea and Aston Villa are exploring a swap involving goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, 33, and striker Nicolas Jackson, valued at around £65m, per the BBC. Villa signed Japan's Zion Suzuki from Parma for £30m as cover. Jackson would reunite with Villa manager Unai Emery, who coached him at Villarreal. The clubs completed a similar PSR-motivated trade last summer.
