Soundgarden to play Seahawks halftime with Taylor Momsen and Mike McCready, September 9 at Lumen Field

Soundgarden will perform the halftime show at the Seattle Seahawks' 2026 home opener on September 9 at Lumen Field, Billboard confirmed. Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen will sing in place of late frontman Chris Cornell, who died in May 2017. Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready will join. The Seahawks' website confirmed the booking. McCready will also play the US National Anthem pregame.
