CD Projekt Red gives The Witcher 3 Remastered free to existing owners

CD Projekt Red announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered at Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live. Rather than selling a paid definitive edition, the studio is giving the remaster free to anyone who owns the original on a qualifying platform. The Switch 2 version launches on September 29, with digital and physical owners both eligible for the upgrade.
