Ex-NBC and BBC News chief Turness joins Independent Talent Group to launch creative studio

Deborah Turness, former chief of NBC News and BBC News, is joining Independent Talent Group as President of Independent Talent Studio, Deadline reports. The London agency is launching the studio arm to build media brands, franchises and IP around creative talent. Turness exited BBC News in November 2025 after a Trump speech-editing scandal that also ousted Director General Tim Davie.
