Mavryk Takes Worldwide Rights to SXSW Thriller 'And Her Body Was Never Found' for TIFF Market

Mavryk has acquired worldwide rights to "And Her Body Was Never Found," an experimental thriller that world-premiered in SXSW's Visions section. Greg Bekkers of Mavryk said the firm will go out with all rights available — no territories pre-sold — and expects the film to travel. Sales begin at the TIFF market. The feature directorial debut of Polaris Banks, co-written with and co-starring Mor Cohen, was shot by a cast-and-crew of two while camping. Mavryk's Toronto slate also includes "Follow Me" with Connie Nielsen and "All Happy Families" with Josh Radnor. Deadline reported the deal.
