IKEA and Xbox unveil YXSTABY, a nine-piece furniture collection at Gamescom in Cologne

IKEA and Xbox unveiled YXSTABY, a nine-piece furniture collection, at the Gamescom fair in Cologne on 26 August 2026. It is Xbox's first move into furniture. Pieces borrow from the controller's design: a tilting stool modelled on a thumbstick and a D-pad-shaped stainless-steel platter. Xbox design director Elliot Hsu said the team used the controller's original design files.
