Raheem Sterling charged with dangerous driving and nitrous oxide possession after M3 crash

Hampshire police charged the 82-cap England forward after a single-vehicle collision on the M3 near Minley on 28 May. No injuries were reported. Sterling, 31, also faces a charge of failing to provide a specimen. His £270,000 Lamborghini was involved. He is due at Basingstoke magistrates court on 15 September and could face up to two years in prison if convicted of dangerous driving. Sterling is without a club after leaving Feyenoord.
