Colbert Endorses Emmy Rival Kimmel While CBS Campaigns for Colbert's Own Show

Colbert posted a video urging Emmy voters to back Kimmel in the outstanding variety series race, with 24 hours of voting left. CBS is separately campaigning for Colbert's final-season Late Show, which earned nine nominations. The Academy merged talk and scripted variety categories this year.
