Japan submits Hamaguchi's 'All of a Sudden' for Oscar international feature race

Japan's Motion Picture Producers Association (Eiren) selected Hamaguchi Ryusuke's "All of a Sudden" as its entry for the international feature category at the 99th Academy Awards, Variety reports. It is Hamaguchi's second turn representing Japan; "Drive My Car" won the category at the 94th ceremony. The film premiered in competition at Cannes in May. Neon releases it in North America on November 25.
